Head Trainer, Cindi Tringali, has been helping dogs and their humans build better relationships for over 30 years. She’s worked with puppies and dogs of all ages and breeds, using gentle, effective methods based on positive reinforcement.
Cindi’s extensive experience includes everything from obedience and manners training to scent work, water rescue, and service dog development. She specializes in owner-trained service dogs, guiding individuals through hands-on, personalized training tailored to their specific needs — whether for mobility, hearing support, PTSD, or medical alerts.
Group classes at The Canine Coaches are designed as a way to socialize your dogs while learning. Each class helps dogs build confidence and good manners while strengthening the bond between dog and owner. Offerings include obedience and manners, agility, rally obedience, reactivity workshops, nose work, trick training, and more. Visit the Group Classes page to view our current schedule and upcoming sessions.
Before founding The Canine Coaches, Cindi served as the Regional Puppy Raiser Trainer for Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) in the San Francisco East Bay, where she supported a 30–60 member group in teaching service dog skills and public access manners.
Cindi has also given back to the community through volunteer work with organizations such as the White Kitty Foundation, helping homeless dogs transition successfully into forever homes, and Dogs4Diabetics, where she trained medical alert dogs to detect low blood sugar levels.
Cindi’s lifelong commitment to compassionate, science-based training was deeply influenced by her mentor, Dr. Sophia Yin, a world-renowned behaviorist and UC Davis faculty member. Her approach centers on building trust, respect, and clear communication — so dogs and their people can thrive together.
